Village shrine God in the west of the Aizu Bange town. This old tale
has been conveyed in Suwa Shrine. A serene autumn day, it is said that the god of Suwa who was taking a walk
in the precincts passes under the Persimmon tree
near the well, and the fruit of the persimmon is trampled and slipped,
and it has fallen to the well by the momentum. Ever since,
it is said that the persimmon tree was not planted in the precincts of Suwa Shrine, and the well was not dug too.
Even if the persimmon tree is planted, it is said that there is not fruit.
So, it is said that a well and Persimmon tree are not a
single in the precincts and around of the Suwa Shrine of Aizu Bange either.
In later years, it seems there was a person who
planted the persimmon tree, but never had the fruit at once. The shrine was burnt down by arson on September 1st, 2010. At a later date,
a man arrested for hitch food and drink in the
town confession the arson. The shrine was rebuilt in 2016.

be a large keyhole-shaped kofun of the early Kofun period with the trench
of the oldest class of Tohoku region. It is more than a
century old from Otsukayama kofun in Aizu-Wakamatsu city. It is a precious
kofun to support the exchange between ancient
Aizu and Kinai(Kyoto,Nara, osaka) region. Surrounded by ten surrounding grooves and pit-type dwellings built around the 3rd
century, it is an extremely rare composite ruins that can be found in
a series of permanent settlements from 3rd to 4th centuries.
