There was a house of Jito Kurimura (around the cemetery in
Jorin-ji temple precincts west). There is no trace of it now. The Jorin-ji temple of this place is section name called "Date-no-uchi", and
the surrounding area is called "Date-no-shita".
Date meaning Yakata.
